Jan Vymazal became the new CEO of Meopta, which manufactures optical products for industrial, military and consumer use in Přerov, on 1 February 2025. He replaces Alena Moore, who has been CEO of Meopta since July 2020.
Vymazal was CEO and board member of energy company GGE for the previous six years. Meopta has been owned by multinational investment fund Carlyle Group since October 2023. “I am delighted to join Meopta at such a dynamic time in its development. Meopta is a renowned company both in the Czech Republic and internationally,” said Vymazal.
