The company EVPÚ Defense a.s., which deals with the development, production and service of electro-optical technologies for the defense and security industry, has recorded significant growth in recent years not only thanks to its ever-expanding product portfolio, but also thanks to the growing volume of important orders that it manages to implement . For example, some CV90 infantry fighting vehicles will be equipped with EVPÚ Defence’s CMS-1 command sight.
On the domestic front, the most significant news for EVPÚ Defense at the moment is the successful completion of several years of negotiations with BAE Systems Hägglunds, the manufacturer of the CV90 MKIV infantry fighting vehicle, which resulted in the company joining the industrial cooperation program on the Czech order for these vehicles. The Czech army will have a total of seven CV90 versions (command, combat, reconnaissance, artillery observation, engineering, rescue and medical). The combat, command and reconnaissance version of the vehicle will be equipped with a CMS-1 command sight from EVPÚ Defence, which will provide the vehicle commander with a complete overview of the situation on the battlefield in any tactical environment and under all weather and light conditions.
