On November 27, we signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Czech National Semiconductor Cluster (CNSC). This step promises a revolution in Czech industry, connecting cutting-edge technologies and strengthening the Czech Republic’s position in the global market.

“This agreement is a key step towards strengthening the innovation potential and competitiveness of the Czech optical and semiconductor industry, which will contribute to building the technological and industrial base of the European Union,” said Prof. Ing. Josef Lazar, Dr., Vice President of the Czech National Semiconductor Cluster and Director of the Institute of Scientific Instruments of the Czech Academy of Sciences.

“The cooperation between the Czech Optical Cluster and the Czech National Semiconductor Cluster represents a key step towards deeper integration of two strategic sectors – optics and semiconductors. Through joint activities, we will be better able to respond to current challenges in technological research, innovation, and industrial production. This strengthens not only the support for our members but also the position of the Czech Republic as a significant player in the global high-tech market,” said Ing. Silvie Skyvová, Chairwoman of the Executive Board of the Czech Optical Cluster.

The agreement between COC and CNSC was signed during the COC members’ meeting, which took place on November 27, 2024, at the Institute of Scientific Instruments of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Královopolská 147, Brno.
